This notice describes how Fifth Third Bank, N.A. (“Fifth Third”) and its service providers may share the information we collect from or about Credit Card Services Small Business Card Members.  Please visit the Credit Card Services Online Privacy Notice for more information about Fifth Third’s data practice when you interact with the Credit Card Services program electronically and other choices that may be available to you.  To the extent you have a relationship with a financial institution other than Fifth Third in connection with the Credit Card Services program, please also consult the separate privacy notice provided to you by the other financial institution.   We may make changes to this Notice from time to time. Our data practices and your choices may vary by product. This privacy notice does not apply to information received from individuals who seek or obtain Credit Card Services products or services from us for personal, family, or household purposes; such consumer information is governed by the Credit Card Services Privacy Notice for Consumers, which can be found at creditcardservices.com/privacy

Information We Collect and Use

We collect information about you and your business, for example when you open an account with us, use your Credit Card Services Small Business Card, pay your bills, or log in to your Credit Card Services Small Business Card account using the Credit Card Services websites or our mobile apps. We also may collect information from publicly and commercially available sources in connection with your Credit Card Services Small Business Card.  We and our service providers may use this information to provide and improve our products and services, including through testing and data analytics; to communicate with you, including for marketing purposes; to address fraud, security risks, and otherwise protect our services, customers, and business; to comply with laws and regulations and protect or exercise our legal rights; and for other lawful business purposes.  

How We May Share Your Information

This section describes how we may share information that identifies you or your business:

  • As a Credit Card Services Small Business Cardholder, you have a relationship with a third-party financial institution that participates in the Credit Card Services program. We share your information with this financial institution for our everyday business purposes, including to provide you with integrated features and functionality, customer service, and for accounting and compliance purposes. We also may share your information with this financial institution for joint marketing purposes.

  • We may share your information with non-affiliated third-parties for our everyday business purposes. For example, we may share information with our service providers and affiliates to operate the Credit Card Services program, process your transactions or maintain your account(s). We also may share your information to respond to court orders and legal investigations, and report to credit bureaus.

  • We may share information for our own marketing purposes. For example, we may share information with non-affiliated third parties, our service providers and affiliates to help us inform you of products and services that may be of interest to you and your business. We require service providers to safeguard personal information and only use personal information for the purposes we specify.
